A little bit about Simplify Loans. . .
Having spent many years dealing with banks and loan companies from both sides of the fence we have gained a lot of experience of how the loan market is built and how it operates and also an insight into how financial companies all too often try to sell you the wrong loan product for you but the most profitable one for themselves. Then having too much time on my hands I decided to try and do something for the many people who need to take out loans but really struggle with the jungle that is called the financial services sector!
The process of borrowing money from lenders is as old as the hills, well actually the first recorded use of actual money in a distinct form dates from around 2500BC. For thousands of years man has quite happily managed to trade with one another by making simple loans, firstly through the trade of goods and later in the form of minted coins. The sad fact is that it is only in recent times that this whole industry has wrapped itself up in more and more complex financial products, even inventing its own vocabulary which generally only serves to confuse rather than help the average man or woman in the street who just wants a straightforward loan at a fair price.
The SimplifyLoans website exists solely to help de-mystify the loan market, explain the language banks use in simple terms and reveal many of the tricks and traps that can so easily lead you into taking out an unsuitable loan product either paying too much or worse still just the wrong loan for the purpose you need it.
The loan business just like so many other industries in the UK can work really well and there are some good honest products out there in the marketplace, we hope to help you see through all the jargon and mis-information and guide you to finding the right loan for you.
We are not owned nor controlled by any bank or loan company and this allows us complete freedom to give the very best advice without any shareholders biting at our heels or worried CEO's editing our content. We do make some recommendations for loan products but these are only products which we have researched thoroughly and truly believe to offer the best value for you as the customer. Whether you take out these products or not makes no difference to the running of this site.
We hope you enjoy using the site and find the comprehensive loan and mortgage calculators useful.
